Fun times afoot: They're filming a movie here! An ultra-low-budget movie, but a movie nonetheless. The bad news: Our town will be the town that banned Christmas. That's the name of the movie: "The Town that Banned Christmas." Check out www.johndowling.net/pages/50/index.htm. According to my library newsletter, which I dutifully read every month (yes, I'm a geek), we colorful locals even get to be in it. We can show up for a tree-lighting ceremony at the library in a couple of weeks, as long as we're wearing red, white and green. Soon, we'll be tripping over the likes of Jane Sibbet, Ross' lesbian wife from "Friends," and Christa B. Allen, from "13 going on 30."
