I have to think about weaning Little Big Man. His first birthday is approaching, and technically I'm off the hook -- no real need for milk after that. But he likes nursing, and I like nursing, and it's a way for me to connect with him when I'm not there. Nursing gives him lots of great antibodies. It calms him down. It allows me to eat a couple hundred extra calories a day. So why not continue?
